Outpatient
Motivation is Key
IVRS offers both regular and intensive outpatient treatment to adult men and women in its Recovery Centers located in the Cities of Upland and San Bernardino. The programs are based on the Matrix model of treatment; along with Terence T. Gorski’s evidence-based practices for relapse prevention. The Recovery Centers provide a safe and stable environment required for the first stages of recovery. They also provide a forum for social activities and events to keep clients “connected” to their foundation for recovery. Treatment episodes average 90 days. IVRS believes in the “social model” concept providing clients with process group counseling sessions for the purpose of addressing issues in a group setting, and receiving feedback from peers. IVRS also provides clients with individual counseling to help them address issues that are personal in nature and cannot be addressed in a group setting. Qualified counselors facilitate all sessions. In addition, IVRS introduces clients’ to the 12-Step fellowships of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA); Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA); and Dual Diagnosis Anonymous (DDA) through meetings, events in the community and sponsorship. A solid 12-step foundation is key for continued success at sobriety.
